Yes. All our rugs/carpets are washable. You can wash the rug/carpet you bought at home with your own means, and for this we are giving away a booklet called "how to clean your rug/carpet at home". If the rug/carpet you purchased is large, you will either do it in your garage or contact Ararat Studios. We also provide professional cleaning services for any kind rugs/carpets and we have an expert team for cleaning antique rugs/carpets, kilims as well.

Hand-woven rug/carpet short-time shedding is a very natural thing, but rugs/carpets produced by Ararat go through many checks and controls before they are sent to you.

This varies depending on the size, pattern, colors and of course which carpet family it belongs to. Hand-woven carpets can take from 1 to 3 months to weave, depending on the weather or the weaver's conditions. As explained here, your loom and weaving area is the first part of the job.
